Our Purpose
To establish collaborations with local and corporate enterprises, social service agencies, and community-based organizations, including nearby churches, aiming to deliver personal hygiene items, household goods, and other essential provisions to individuals and families in the city of Suffolk and its neighboring communities.
Our Why
BridgetheGap Outreach Center is a 501 C3 organization that supports the vision of BridgetheGap Ministries to make an impact in the lives of the less fortunate by providing hope and dignity through the distribution of household goods, toiletries, diapers, and other basic essentials. Our Outreach services not only provide tangible goods; we also bring resources, awareness, and education to communities in order to foster waste reduction through reuse, repurpose, and recycle initiatives that divert waste from landfills to support environmental sustainability.

The best way for nonprofits to solve the issues plaguing our communities today, is by working together to help feed, clothe and shelter the less fortunate. This is why BridgetheGap Outreach Center builds partnerships to fill need gaps in the community. We do this through donations, contributions, sponsorships, and the support of fellow organizations and agencies to make goods available for the greater good.
BridgetheGap Ministries launched in 2014
As a ministry that has a heart for God's people. The primary thought of the Founder was to bridge the gap between the "Have and the "Have-nots." The vision God gave to this Michael Ojujoh has gone much further than expected; so that today, and beyond, thousands of people can receive goods for the greater good of all mankind
In June 2022, the expansion of BridgetheGap Ministries began with the launching of BridgtheGap Outreach Center located in the city of Suffolk, Virginia. The Outreach Center is housed in a 4,700-square-foot warehouse space where goods and products are received and distributed to individuals and families in the city of Suffolk and surrounding communities.

As the current economic downturn continues to make life difficult for more and more people, BridgetheGap Outreach Center works with a network of nonprofits, businesses and public support to distribute basic essentials and goods to impact the homes and lives of the most vulnerable individuals and families in the city of Suffolk, Virginia and surrounding communities. We receive and distribute goods, free of charge primarily to low-income families with children, the elderly, disabled and the homeless. Our goal is to minimize the need for disposal or recycling, and instead foster waste reduction to support environmental sustainability and conservation of natural resources and stimulate economic activity in the reuse and recovery sectors.
